“Dieppe’s 2025-2029 strategic plan will provide direction to City Council and guide projects and the work of City staff over the next five years.”

Lapierre said the plan will be developed in consultation with community partners, including the general public.

“(This) is a unique opportunity for the municipality and residents to engage in a collective discussion and reflection,” he said.

The open house will take place at City Hall on April 9 between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The release says residents will be asked to share their aspirations for Dieppe. their views on its strengths and challenges and suggest potential avenues for improvement.

A survey will also be launched online during the week of April 15. There will also be a paper format of the survey available.

“The City invites the public to come out in large numbers and to stay tuned for future developments,” said the mayor. “Involving residents in updating our municipality’s strategic plan will help us better prepare to face challenges together.”
