Gal scores winner to lift Spokane over Thunderbirds 3-1

KENT, Wash. - Blake Gal's winner gave the Spokane Chiefs a 3-1 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Kyle Beach also scored for Spokane (9-6-1), and Mitch Wahl had an insurance empty-net goal to insure the victory. The Chiefs have now won three in a row.

Sena Acolatse was the only goal scorer for Seattle (4-12-3).
