Safe at home!

Amelie Cote of Team Chaleur was called safe while sliding into home plate during Acadian Games girls softball action last Thursday against the Acadian Peninsula. The Acadian Games were held June 25 to 28 in Petit-Rocher with hundreds of athletes, chaperones and others in attendance. Nigadoo, Beresford and Bathurst also played host to some of the sporting events. For more coverage, see pages B3 and B4.
